Yes. Bloomera is an exclusively telehealth psychology service, offering secure online appointments across Australia. Telehealth can make it easier to access perinatal psychology support from home, and our Australia-wide team allows you to be matched with a psychologist who understands perinatal mental health and aligns with your needs. Research supports telehealth as an effective and acceptable option for many mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and perinatal mental health care.

A referral may be needed if you intend to use Medicare rebates, depending on current requirements. Private sessions may not require a referral.

No. Therapy cannot guarantee particular outcomes. It may provide support, understanding, strategies and space for processing, depending on your circumstances and engagement.

Bloomera handles personal information in line with privacy and confidentiality obligations. Bloomera takes your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. Limits to confidentiality, such as safety or legal obligations, are explained as part of informed consent.

Standard psychology sessions are $280 per session.

Yes, where you have a valid referral and meet Medicare requirements. Bloomera can process Medicare rebates for clients where possible. Clients seeking Medicare rebates need a referral from a medical practitioner, such as a GP, Psychiatrist, OBYGYN, Fertility Specialist etc. where applicable.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice incur the full session fee.

Yes. Bloomera offers formal ADHD/autism assessment as well as therapy for women exploring or living with neurodivergence. Suitability and scope will be discussed during enquiry or intake.

Yes. Bloomera will offer couples/relationship support where concerns relate to fertility, pregnancy, birth recovery, early parenthood, role changes, communication strain or the transition into family life, and where the work is clinically appropriate.

Bloomera is not designed for high-acuity eating disorders, active psychosis, complex forensic risk, acute suicidality, or parenting capacity/legal matters. If these concerns are present, Bloomera may recommend a more appropriate local, multidisciplinary, crisis, public mental health, medical, forensic or legal pathway.

Bloomera is women-centred and welcomes diverse fertility pathways and family structures, including solo parenting by choice, donor conception, surrogacy, blended families and LGBTQIA+ family contexts where the service is clinically appropriate.
