OUr Founder
Meet Jaclyn
Jaclyn Potts is Bloomera’s founder and a psychologist whose work has included women’s mental health, perinatal adjustment, neurodivergence, trauma-informed care, complex life transitions and clinical supervision.
Her lived experience helped shape the heart of Bloomera. Her clinical training, ethical responsibilities and professional judgement guide the care. Jaclyn leads the practice, so the Bloomera standard is carried by every person and every system around the client.
Where to start
A thoughtful match matters
Feeling understood by your psychologist matters.
When you enquire, we take time to understand what you are navigating, what matters to you in a psychologist, your availability and the kind of support that may feel right.
If Bloomera appears to be a good fit, we will thoughtfully match you with the psychologist we believe is best suited to your needs. We will then share relevant information about their experience and approach, so you can get a sense of who they are and decide whether you would feel comfortable booking a first session.
Before you book
Every enquiry is thoughtfully reviewed so we can consider what you are navigating, your preferences and the psychologist who may be the most suitable match. Jaclyn provides clinical oversight of Bloomera’s matching approach.
Before you book, we’ll let you know which psychologist we think may be the right fit for you and share information about their experience and approach. This gives you a chance to understand a little more about them and decide whether you feel comfortable taking the next step.
Bloomera does not define what motherhood should look like, or whether motherhood is the only meaningful ending. We are here for women across cultures, ethnicities, faiths, identities, sexualities, family structures, histories, and ways of thinking, feeling and moving through the world. There is no single face of wanting. No single way to become. No single way to mother.
Some of the faces you see here and across our social channels are real, others are chosen with the same care. No image identifies a client or stands as a testimonial. We hold every contribution with deep gratitude.
